Over the past several weeks a group of concerned residents of beautiful Lanark County have been working tirelessly to stop a roadside herbicide spraying program that is set to start on May 30.
People have been voicing their opinions at meetings, petitions have been circulating on line and off, letters have been written to our elected officials and, in terms of building awareness, a great deal has been achieved.
However, the spray is still planned. This website has been set up to coordinate our efforts and to provide information to all who are interested, want to learn about the issues and those who want to get involved.
We are a group of citizens who strive for a healthy, clean, beautiful Lanark County that is safe for all people, animals, bees etc.
